Complete systems vs. individual components. Anything listed as a
System ships complete: outdoor condenser, indoor air handler and matching controls. Anything listed as a
Condenser or an
Air Handler is a single component, sold for replacement or custom pairing, and is not a working system on its own.
Sizing. Use the room-size filter to match BTU capacity to the square footage you are conditioning. On multi-zone systems, total capacity is the combined rating of all indoor air handlers, not the rating of the outdoor unit alone.
