Airtight Start Collar with Adhesive Gasket — Galvanized Steel

This airtight start collar creates a round branch connection from sheet metal duct, plenums, and compatible flat HVAC surfaces. The wide mounting flange includes a self-sealing adhesive gasket that helps create a secure, low-leakage connection when properly installed.

Constructed from galvanized steel, the collar provides a durable connection for compatible round metal duct or properly secured flexible duct. The mounting flange extends approximately 1.5 inches beyond the collar on each side.

Available Sizes: 6", 8", 9", 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", and 20".

Application: Designed to create a round branch connection from compatible sheet metal duct, plenums, and flat HVAC surfaces.

Installation: Prepare the properly sized opening and clean the mounting surface. Remove the gasket backing, position the collar over the opening, and press the flange firmly against the surface. Mechanically fasten and seal the connection as required.

Connection: Attach compatible round metal duct or properly secured flexible duct to the collar and seal the joint according to the HVAC installation requirements.
