The ACiQ Extreme Series 5 Ton 15.2 SEER2 80% AFUE 150,000 BTU Hybrid Heat Pump and Furnace System - R454B Inverter - Multi-Positional is a dual fuel split system: a heat pump handles mild-weather heating and all cooling, and the gas furnace takes over in the coldest weather, through the matched coil. The components are matched by ACiQ and rated together at 16 SEER2, 9.0 HSPF2, 80% AFUE; buying them as a set means the capacities, refrigerant and controls are already lined up.
