The ACiQ 2.5 Ton 14.5 SEER2 80% AFUE 88,000 BTU Hybrid Heat Pump & Furnace System - R454B Dual Fuel Upflow/Downflow is a dual fuel split system: a heat pump handles mild-weather heating and all cooling, and the gas furnace takes over in the coldest weather, through the matched coil. The components are matched by ACiQ and rated together at 14.3 SEER2, 7.5 HSPF2, 80% AFUE; buying them as a set means the capacities, refrigerant and controls are already lined up.
