Duct Board Starting Collar — Galvanized Steel

This duct board starting collar creates a round branch connection from duct board, plenums, and compatible flat HVAC surfaces. The top tabs help secure the collar through the prepared opening, while the integral attachment flange provides a stable mounting surface for fastening and sealing the fitting.

Constructed from 26-gauge galvanized steel, the round collar connects to compatible metal duct or properly secured flexible duct. It is suitable for residential and commercial supply-air, return-air, and general ventilation systems.

Installation: Mark and cut the properly sized opening. Insert the tabbed end through the opening and bend the top tabs outward to help secure the collar. Fasten and seal the attachment flange as required for the installation.
